FollowerLost is designed with privacy as our core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
When you use our tool, you upload your Instagram data export files (followers_1.json and following.json) directly to our Flask backend. These files are processed entirely in memory, and the results are returned to your browser. The files are never stored on any server and are immediately discarded after processing.
Zero Persistence Model
We operate under a strict zero-persistence model. This means:
- No data is written to any database
- No files are stored on our servers
- No user sessions are maintained
- No browsing history is tracked
- No IP addresses are logged
